Motherboard of Notebook

The motherboard on a notebook computer is different from desktop computers because it is built with audio chips, video chips and processors integrated and assembled with the motherboard. Such elements are not upgradeable by the user and you must vigilantly look at the specifications for every part of the motherboard to assure you are getting what is good for you.
Audio speakers and chips

Once again, the audio chip is an integrated part and the speakers are built exactly into the system. Fine quality audio chips would have extra software, which can improve the sound, or there are third party programs obtainable that would make listening to your music a fine experience. The speakers would not be similar quality, which you get from outer speakers, though that is altering with higher end notebooks. You can also use outer speakers to make it simpler to hear audio content or when there are others who require hearing it.
Processors

The real brains behind how fine your notebook operates are not regrettably the individual using the notebook but processors included within. There are processors that have been designed precisely for notebooks; they are optimized to decrease heat and save the energy. Notebooks now have processors that operate only as fast as desktops. While finalizing which notebook to buy, choose one, which has the speediest processors, which can be afforded. The processor is not an upgradeable item in a notebook and if you buy a notebook with a slow processor, you could be sorry in the future. Intel Core 2 Duo and Intel Core Duo are the speediest of the processors and the greater part of new notebooks would have this kind of processor.
RAM

Random Access Memory is an internal part that in few notebooks can be upgraded. Notebooks use SODIMM that is dissimilar than desktop RAM and more pricey. It is obviously smaller than desktop RAM and is generally 2” X 1” having 144 pins. RAM can be precise to notebook creators and models. You cannot mix kinds of RAM with your notebook. Few notebooks necessitate that you install RAM in harmonized pairs. For computer that has 512MB of RAM, which is composed of two sticks of 256MB, RAM 2 GB is the minimum you should achieve. While buying your notebook have the RAM upgraded before you buy.
Video Chips

The video chips are integrated on motherboard and are exact to dissimilar models and creators also use dissimilar grades of video chips on their notebooks. Lower price models have decreased end video chips and high cost models have high-end video chips. The video chips in notebook have been optimized to use low power and can either have devoted RAM or share RAM with the remaining of your notebook system. NOTE – if you will be requiring your notebook for multi media or heavy graphics work, choose a notebook that has a video chip with devoted RAM. Your computer would run more fast and smooth.
